Contribute to the community spirit and be the driving force behind JFOM
Organisers of the Tyrepower Joondalup Festival of Motoring are looking for volunteer motorsport officials to be the driving force behind the motorsport element, the Joondalup City Sprint, and contribute to the community spirit of the free, family-friendly festival.
In return for their valuable time, all registered officials will receive a uniform, lunch AND one entry to the Tyrepower prize draw, seeing one lucky event volunteer win a set of tyres from generous event sponsor Tyrepower (up to $2k value).
Both seasoned and newcomer officials are welcome to register for the event, with just a passion for safety and the ability to clearly relay information over the radio required.
The Joondalup City Sprint takes place on Sunday, 5 May. JFOM trackside volunteer officials will have a front row seat to the high octane motorsport time trial on a challenging 2.2km closed road course.
If trackside is not your vibe, there are a variety of other positions available such as event administration personnel, spectator marshals and service paddock marshals.
Important prize draw information:
- The prize is not redeemable for cash
- The prize is for up to $2k towards one set of tyres. No change or refunds given.
- The prize must be selected in-store at a Tyrepower Store as advised by Tyrepower WA.
- Prize drawn on Sunday, 5 May 2024
To register as an official, complete the online registration form on www.jfom.com.au or email info@jfom.com.au for inquiries.
Events like these don’t happen without our amazing team of officials. At any large event, you can expect to pay big money for a front-row seat with an uninterrupted view (hello, Coldplay!), but at the Tyrepower Joondalup Festival of Motoring, we will give it to you for free!
If you have already register (for the 2023 event) we will be in touch.
Please remember:
- Even if you are new to Motorsport we can put you with an experienced official.
- We provide on the job training for new people to our sport.
- We have a heap of non-sporting roles.
- It’s a great way to meet new friends.
